She-Hulk is one of Marvel Studios’ most highly anticipated upcoming Disney+ series, featuring Bruce Banner’s cousin Jennifer Walters. On Disney Investors Day in 2020 Kevin Feige announced that Tatiana Maslany would be playing the titular role of Jennifer Walters, with Mark Ruffalo reprising his role as Hulk and Tim Roth reprising his role as The Abomination. The series is set to release later this year around august and was earlier even rumored to premiere before Ms. Marvel. She-Hulk has been known to be a 2022 project for some time now, however, as of right now – there is still no clear release window for the series which has caused this uncertainty and all these rumors of the series being delayed. The newest rumor suggests that the series may not premiere till the end of the year. This is possible but there are a lot of reasons why it is unlikely that the series will premiere that late.

This new rumor comes to us from the Marvel Studios Spoilers subreddit. Where a user by the name of lyserg published a post saying that She-Hulk would premiere in late 2022 (November-December) or possibly even as late as January of 2023. This user previously posted many accurate details about WandaVision prior to its release on Disney+. So they have a very minimal track-record.

Why this may be false?

It is important to remember that filming for the show commenced 2 weeks before Moon Knight and wrapped filming nearly 2 months before it, but due to its more intensive VFX, it will end up debuting on Disney+ after both Moon Knight and Ms. Marvel, despite originally being expected to premiere in between the two shows.

Earlier in the year rumors from both trusted and less trusted sources were all agreeing that the series would premiere in June before Ms. Marvel, with some reports even claiming that it would premiere even before Moon Knight. So it’s important to note that there have already been 100s of equally reliable and more reliable rumors suggesting that the series would debut around summer which also makes sense with the production schedule of the series. The series wrapped filming on August 25, the trend for post-production for Marvel DIsney+ shows has been 5-7 months which would at the latest give the series a release at the end of March, but due to the extensive VFX involved with making multiple fully CGI characters series it is understandable that it would be delayed 5-6 months to premiere after Ms. Marvel in August. This new rumor however suggests a 12 month delay due to VFX, which seems unrealistic, even with the intensive CGI involved. Disney+ has also recently been keen to push out as much content as possible to reach their target subscription goal, so to ruin that would not make sense from a business perspective. also recently underwent reshoots in Atlanta, amidst rumors of a possible Jessica Jones appearance.

Given the confirmation of Ms. Marvel‘s release, the series will clearly premiere after Ms. Marvel. The show is currently set to end on July 13th, after which the Star Wars series Andor is expected to release. So – if Andor should release afterwards on July 20th, She-Hulk might premiere 2-3 weeks later, on August 10. She-Hulk has also been confirmed to have 10 episodes, so this would have it ending on October 5th. Recently, a reputable Brazillian News Chippu has also claimed that they had heard that the series would premiere in August, adding more credence to an August 10 release.
