Marvel had everyone in shock and in a frenzy as they revealed the first trailer to the long-awaited Disney Plus Series: Ms.Marvel.

The internet had been waiting for the first trailer for Marvel Studios Film, Thor: Love and Thunder. The wait for the Thor Trailer saw Disney break their trend for Marvel trailers. But, Disney had other plans as the Ms.Marvel trailer dropped instead.

The trailer gave us our first look at Kamala Khan, Marvel’s first Pakistani Superhero, first introduced in Marvel Comics in 2013.

Accompanied by “Blinded by the Light” by The Weekend, Ms.Marvel combines elements of Scott Pilgrim with the Marvel Cinematic Universe. New-comer Iman Vellani seems the perfect fit for Kamala Khan

Ms.Marvel seems like a coming-of-age, teen drama series, with promises of great Muslim and Pakistani representation. Following, Kamala Khan, A 16-year-old Pakistani who has been raised in New Jersey. She is a superhero fanatic who is obsessed with The Avengers, in particular Captain Marvel. She then gains powers of her own as she steers through life in High-School.

The Trailer promises a greatly exciting tone for the show.

Iman Vellani stars as Kamala Khan aka Ms. Marvel. The cast also includes Aramis Knight, Saagar Shaikh, Rish Shah, Zenobia Shroff, Mohan Kapur, Matt Lintz, Yasmeen Fletcher, Laith Nakli, Azhar Usman, Travina Springer and Nimra Bucha.

Original Series Launches Exclusively on Disney+ June 8
