She-Hulk is one of Marvel Studios’ most highly anticipated upcoming Disney+ series now officially set to premiere on Disney Plus on August 17th, featuring Bruce Banner’s cousin Jennifer Walters. The series was first announced back at the 2019 D23 Expo by Kevin Feige. Shortly after during the 2020 Disney Investor Day, Feige announced that Tatiana Maslany would be playing the titular role of Jennifer Walters, with Mark Ruffalo reprising his role as Hulk and Tim Roth reprising his role as The Abomination, (last seen in Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings). Earlier in the year I predicted that the series would premiere on Disney Plus on August 10th. Now Marvel Studios has finally released an amazing first trailer for the series, also confirming the release window, just a week later than my prediction.

Plot and Surprises

All the talk surrounding mystery characters showing up has caused many fans to speculate on who may show up, with Marvel Studios head Kevin Fiege teasing fans saying that  “you never know what Marvel characters are gonna pop up from episode to episode.”

Charlie Cox’s Daredevil finally made his MCU return as Peter Parker’s lawyer in last year’s Spider-Man No Way Home. So an appearance in another superhero-related legal setting would make perfect sense. Rumours of Cox’s appearance in the series started just 10 days after the Daredevil rights were handed back to Marvel Studios. Insider Grace Randolph reported that he would show up in She-Hulk alongside an appearance in the third Tom Holland Spider-Man movie, which turned out to be true. Since then, many more trusted scoopers have reported the same, adding that this will be a different side of Daredevil with rumours of him donning his classic red and yellow suit from the comics. Charlie Cox has since also added fuel to this fire by saying that he knows that Matt Murdock will be appearing in other things, with She-Hulk being one of the most likely candidates. Along with this Megan the Stallion, Jessica Jones and shockingly Kevin Fiege are also among the rumored list of cameos.

Who knows who will show up but it’s sure to be a blast!
